Here are the free PlayStation Plus games for December 2016

Each month, a new range of free downloadable games becomes available to North American, European and Australian PlayStation Plus subscribers, with titles across PS3, PS4 and PS Vita.

We suggest you grab these games while they're free, as you'll then be able to play them as long as you have an active Plus subscription.

As the free games are refreshed monthly, we've taken the liberty of keeping you updated on the titles that are being offered.

Here are your free PlayStation Plus games for December 2016, which are already available to download for the rest of the month.

PlayStation 4

Tiny Troopers Joint Ops – A bite-sized twin-stick arcade shooter, Tiny Troopers Joint Ops proves that big action can come from the smallest heroes.

PS Vita

Color Guardians – Vibrant and frantically paced, Color Guardians is a fun and challenging side-scrolling platformer that tasks you with bringing colour back to the world.

VVVVVV – With an authentic-yet-modernised Atari 2600-style presentation, VVVVVV is a critically-acclaimed 2D puzzle platformer from Irish video game developer Terry Cavanagh.
